The Geek of the Week

For as long as I can remember,
I have been unlike any of my peers,
Sissy surrounded by my sisters
Oddball turned the things upside down
cuz they looked better to me
Retarded, when pain was not the problem
Outrageous, when I play my life recklessly

Random free-associating conversations crappy music videos
I don't think linearly...C then B and perhaps A
I understand how to fit in,
but that's not meee
it's just that fitting in is so simultaneously stressful and boring for me.
I'm not exceptional nor special,
Let's rape the Cannons
forget about templates or styles
let it flow...geek yourself
geeks will love you
I believe in mines

Wanna contribute to society.
Added value part of the social world.
Consequently, I feel a lot of tension between
fitting in and flipping out.
Sometimes I feel like I am two steps away from becoming the geek of the week
The former is somewhat appealing, but the latter could be terrifying.

Come out geeks we all urge the need
Is this just "being gifted" or "creative"?
Life's short and impulses are free
Should I just stop caring or will
this finally push me over?

Put your heart and soul into playing that part.
Maybe you can find a crack in everybody's haart
maybe weirdo but beloved by your art

will be unable to overlook your quirks
to see what's good about me.
Do you feel that your quirks are a cliff?
tone that down. Channel it.

Brings to mind the fascinating world of the 'one-and-only'...
I found my outlets as an outwards of my inner fires!
Creation is my rescue becoming part of the "alt" crowd

Social suicide within this dreary world

you'vetaken for an idiot
you'll b taken for a fool
You're taken for the geek of the week!
